I am doing the same course at the moment and it took me a bit to work it all out. There are assignments in each chapter of the textbook that you complete in the Evolve simulations. There are also assignments you need to complete in Evolve itself. You do the ones from the textbook in the "Simulation Playground". Hope this helps!
