Looking for any one close who is also in the program. I think it would be great to have some who shares a interest in this field and we can learn and grow together. Also anybody else having issues with finding a externship site ? I still have a ways to go but, been getting a early start trying to secure a place where I know can go when the time comes. I heard back from Banfield they no longer offer externships for Vet Asst just Vet Techs and Veterinarian students but, the coordinater was very nice and helpful. VCA said to try the nearest location to me and speak to a practice manager but, they can't promise anything. So I have to call them and others as well when I get a chance. I wish everyone the best as we take this steps to getting closer to our goals !!!
