What does a Penn Foster Ambassador Do?
As a Student Ambassador, you will positively represent Penn Foster to prospective students who are considering our school, and serve as a role model and mentor to current Penn Foster students. Penn Foster Student Ambassadors should support our school’s mission of Changing the World through Knowledge and Skill and embrace our core values:
- Be a student achievement champion
- Provide service infused with understanding, respect, and empathy
- Be responsible and act with integrity
- Collaborate to create better outcomes
- Surprise and delight
- Take care of the earth and give back to the community in which we live and work
Types of participation and leadership commitments:
- Positively represent Penn Foster to prospective students who are considering our school
- Serve as a role model and mentor to current Penn Foster students
- Consistent and active participation on the Penn Foster Community
- Mentor/Study Buddy to a minimum of four students throughout the year
- Contribute interesting program related content to their academic space monthly
- Video interview, testimonial and photo shoot for our website and marketing materials
- Participation as a Penn Foster student spokesperson in press interviews as needed
- Participation in Penn Foster focus groups as well as other “test” programs as needed
- Active social media promotion to your network across a variety of social platforms
- Must attend local student meet-ups and relevant Webinars
How are Student Ambassadors recognized and rewarded?
- Official Penn Foster Student Ambassador Jacket and other Penn Foster gear with completion
- Special Student Ambassador Badge on Community
- Private space on Community to engage with other Ambassadors and redeem special offers and exclusive discounts
- Exclusive “first look” previews and opportunity to provide input into new Penn Foster programs
